Grow St. Bernard, powered by the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce and St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation, is a six-part professional development series that provides fresh ideas and practical strategies to business owners and staff of small and mid-sized businesses.
The series includes a diverse lineup of notable speakers and business leaders discussing current trends, local and regional insights, and best practices for operating a business.
Registration for the full Grow St. Bernard series is $100 per attendee and includes access to all six sessions and the option to receive one-on-one business mentoring provided by the Louisiana Small Business Development Center. Registration for a single session is $25 per attendee.
The Grow St. Bernard Session series takes place from August 9, 2022 through October 18, 2022. All sessions begin with coffee, networking, and a light breakfast at 8:30 AM.

Session Three: September 6, 2022 – Disaster Planning – Be Prepared
Here in South Louisiana, having a disaster plan is crucial to help you define potential threats and how to manage them. From natural disasters to cybersecurity threats, the goal for a disaster plan is to minimize the disruption to your business, your reputation and your revenue. It's important to know how to prepare for whatever challenge life throws at you. Learn about how to develop an emergency plan that suits the needs of your business to keep you and your employees protected.
Session Four: September 20, 2022 – Employee Engagement & Customer Service
Do you want to create an exceptional customer service experience that keeps customers coming back? Well, that must begin with employee engagement. Employees who are engaged are proven to be more productive in the workplace and even more so when they find their work to be personally fulfilling.
