Strategies for social media and reaching customers in a digital age.
Zack Smith is a fine art and commercial photographer that has been documenting the social, musical and cultural landscapes of New Orleans and Louisiana for the past 20 years. As both a musician, artist, and storyteller, Smith believes that the world gets smaller as we celebrate our similarities and connect through our traditions and stories. Zack's ability to communicate with his clients on a level that allows him to create intimate, powerful, and engaging content is the reason why he enjoys a stead stream of work from continuing clients such as: Peter Mayer Advertising, Verbatim/Getty Images, Louisiana Tourism, New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, New Orleans Tourism & Marketing Corporation, Hancock/Whitney and CHASE Bank, as well as musicians Branford Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr, Delfeayo Marsalis, and NIKE/Anthony Davis.
Since 2002 Zack has been teaching photography at The New Orleans Academy of Fine Art and Newman High School, as well as leading his own photography workshops, empowering and inspiring the next generation of visual storytellers. Zack continues to engage the Louisiana photographic community as the host of the new Louisiana Photography Podcast THE FRAME, sponsored in part by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and the Jazz and Heritage Foundation. Zack also speaks and teaches mini workshops at the St. Tammany Photographic Society, Louisiana Photographic Society, and the Slidell Photo Society.
As a small business owner in the creative visual market, Zack Smith has mentored with SEO experts and spent countless hours educating and empowering himself to learn strategies and tactics needed to grow his business and brand. As a relatively new member of St. Bernard Parish, he is honored to share some of his techniques and philosophies at Grow St. Bernard!
