Event Description:
One of most prestigious traditional music and dance groups from La Laguna in Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, will perform at the Nunez Auditorium on March 5.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for a reception where the public can meet and speak with members of the group while enjoying free wine and light refreshments.
San Borondón’s free performance will run 7 p.m.-8 p.m.
The group will appear at Nunez ahead of its performances at both days of the 50th Annual Los Isleños Heritage & Cultural Society Fiesta, March 7-8 at the Los Isleños Museum Complex at 1357 Bayou Road in St. Bernard Parish.
