St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce Launches Savor St. Bernard, a New Culinary Celebration of Local Flavor
A 10-day food-focused event set for July 18–27 will spotlight parish restaurants, special dishes, and community culture.
ST. BERNARD PARISH, LA — The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of Savor St. Bernard, a brand-new culinary celebration taking place July 18–27, 2025. For ten flavorful days, restaurants across the parish will serve up exclusive dishes and limited-time offers known as “Savor Specials,” designed to showcase the creativity, passion, and diversity of St. Bernard’s food scene.
These specials will be featured online at SavorStBernard.com, where locals and visitors can explore the full list of participating restaurants and use an interactive map to plan their delicious journey throughout the parish.
The official list of participating restaurants will be released on Friday, June 20. Restaurants are still welcome to register until July 17, the day before the event kicks off. Diners can follow along on social media by following @savorstbernard on Instagram and Savor St. Bernard on Facebook, and by using #SavorStBernard to share their own experiences and see featured dishes.
More than just a dining event, Savor St. Bernard is a new initiative created by the St. Bernard Chamber to celebrate the strength and resilience of the local food industry—20 years after Hurricane Katrina forever changed the region. In the aftermath of the storm, restaurants played a vital role in the parish’s recovery. They offered more than meals: they provided comfort, community, and a sense of normalcy when it was needed most. Today, they continue to shape St. Bernard’s cultural identity through food, service, and hospitality.
With deep roots and fresh energy, Savor St. Bernard is poised to become an annual tradition, shining a spotlight on the parish as a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors. The Chamber invites everyone to experience the flavor, history, and hospitality that make St. Bernard truly one of a kind.
