[CHALMETTE, LA] - Councilmembers Patrice Cusimano and Ryan Randall, along with representatives from the Parish President’s Office, joined the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director Rhett Pritchard for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of Royalty Discount, located at 8700 West Judge Perez Drive, right next to GameStop.
Owned by family members of the former King Discount, which served St. Bernard Parish for many years in the same central Chalmette location, Royalty Discount continues a familiar tradition while unveiling a modern new look and expanded offerings.
Owner Shade Ahmad remarked, “The king is back, but we had to include the queen, so we’re calling this Royalty Discount, and we’re happy to be back serving St. Bernard Parish. We hope everyone comes by to see us soon.”
Guests at the grand opening enjoyed product samples, snacks, prize giveaways, and a raffle, making the celebration a fun and welcoming event for the entire community.
The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce and Parish Government encourage residents to stop by Royalty Discount, meet the owners, and explore their crown-worthy selection of beer, wine, and spirits.
